Visa information:

Nationals of visa waiver countries can enter Korea without a visa as long as the purpose of their visit is tourism or temporary visit. If they want to engage in profitable activities such as employment, they must apply for a Korean VISA suitable for their purpose.

To Jeju international airport:

1) From foreign airports:

Direct flight services to Jeju international airport (IATA: CJU) from 13 foreign cities are available: Japan (Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Narita), China (Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Dalian, Haerbin, Changchun), and Taiwan (Taipei).

2) From Incheon international airport (Incheon airport ¡æ Gimpo airport ¡æJeju airport):

Most international flights for South Korea arrive at Incheon international airport (IATA: ICN). Although there is flight connections to Jeju international airport from incheon airport, it is not frequent (only two flights a day). The best way to Jeju airport is via Gimpo international airport (IATA: GMP). To go to Gimpo airport, you have to pass immigrations and reclaim your baggages.

  • Airport railroad express (AREX): AREX runs every 5~15 minutes to Gimpo airport. The fare is about KRW 3,500 and it takes about 33 minutes. For more information, visit AREX home page.

  • Taxi: You can use taxi to Gimpo airport. It takes about 35 minutes and costs about KRW 45,000.

  • Bus: At incheon airport, bus ticketing offices are located near Exit 4 and 9. Purchase the ticket to Gimpo airport (about KRW 6,500 for Limousine Deluxe/Standard). Go outside of the building to Bus Stop 3B and 10A for Deluxe and 4B and 11A for Standard. Bus runs every 10~20 minutes and the trip takes about 35~40 minutes.

At Gimpo airport, use domestic flight to Jeju. There are flights to Jeju in every 10~20 minutes and the flight takes about one hour. Reservation (for Gimpo-Jeju) can be made at Korean Air or Asiana.

 

To ICC Jeju and conference hotels from Jeju international airport:

After arriving at Jeju airport, proceed to Bus Stop 2 at the outside of the terminal. Take limousine bus (bus # 600). The bus runs every  15~20 minutes. Bus # 600 stops at ICC Jeju and all the conference hotels. It takes 60~90 minutes depending on the hotel of your choice (about 70 minutes to ICC Jeju) and costs about KRW 5,000.
